Join us for an unforgettable evening at Gray Farms, for our first farm-to-table dinner, that has been a dream of ours for years! Along with Sugar Creek Trading Co., we are excited to welcome you onto the land where we'll greet you with a specially curated mocktail to start the experience, followed by a field tour where we will show you exactly where some of your food came from for the upcoming meal. We will then move into our greenhouse event space that is surrounded by wildflowers and bathed in the soft glow of string lights and candles.
The experience is limited to 20 participants giving you each time to ask questions and to enjoy more meaningful conversation and deeper connections.
We built this meal around what the season offers, grown nearby, harvested close to the moment it's served, and prepared simply enough to let it speak for itself. A summer evening's worth of food, served in unhurried courses meant to be lingered over.
You'll arrive to something cold and bright in hand, a watermelon agua fresca with a salted rim.
The table eases in with a chilled gazpacho shooter drizzled in herbal olive oil, then semolina pasta in roasted garden pesto with spring peas and lemon zest.
The mains are made to gather around, herbed yogurt-marinated kebabs finished with green goddess dressing (with a plant-based version made just as carefully), and a harvest barley salad of fried shallots, roasted kale, kohlrabi, and butter-basted mushrooms.
As the sky turns, dessert: the Summer Sunset Cake, layered with grilled peaches, vanilla bean custard, and lemon ganache.
This is an event that encourages you to slow down and truly savor summer. To relax and enjoy everything it has to offer at this peaceful farm-to-table dinner.
Intentionally crafted with love,
Crystal and Marty Gray of Gray Farms & Angelina and Christopher Canaday of Sugar Creek Trading Co.
